Bernadette began her career at Colby College in Waterville, Maine gaining unparalleled experience in higher education, while also establishing herself as a respected student affairs professional. Currently working as a real estate agent for All City Real Estate Ltd Co, she specializes in Military Relocation, First Time Homebuyers, and Leasing.

As a native of Washington State, Dr. Buchanan moved to Texas in 2013 with her family and chocolate lab named Coco. After moving to Cibolo, she quickly got acquainted with the university community in Seguin, TX and began to fall in love with Cibolo-Schertz and South Central Texas.

Being the daughter of a retired US Air Force serviceman and school teacher, Dr. Buchanan grew up appreciating difference and the importance of connecting others to the community. It is through being an educator and a real estate agent, she is able to maintain her desire to help families create generational wealth and revitalize their family tree through educational attainment and property ownership.
